An aerial view drawing of Brooklands track showing the layout after the Campbell road racing circuit was constructed within the outer circuit in 1937. The interestingly named Solomon Straight was named after the Brooklands goat. The Sahara Straight is protected by a Preservation Order gained by The Brooklands Society some years ago and can still be driven on. The Aerodrome Curve area is today occupied by the Mercedes-Benz World offices.
